Saving Lives,
One dog at a time.
Preventing Euthanasia, Providing Fostering, Re-Homing and Giving All Dogs a Second Chance.

OUR WHY
Every Day...

Dogs lose their lives for no good reason.
Unfortunately, dogs are euthanized daily in shelters across the country. Dogs who still have plenty of love to give are simply "put down."
Additionally, many dogs locally need a new place to call home.
Dogs need help:
Shelters are overpopulated
Overwhelmed owners who don't have enough time
They've been lost, abused, or neglected
They act "inconveniently" for their owners
OUR PURPOSE
Love has no timeline...
Rescue Love was created to save and improve the lives of Dogs.
Our Hearts are for the dogs and the
goal is to find the perfect family for each of the dogs we meet or save.
We do this in three primary ways:
We provide a network of foster homes for dogs to remove them from the "kill list" until they can find their forever home
We help match dogs with loving homes for life
We raise funds to cover the expenses of transporting dogs out of "kill states" to our facility for fostering and re-homing

OUR NEEDS
How you can help...

Foster a Dog
Sometimes our rescued dogs just need a comfortable place to land while in transition.
Please consider signing up to be a foster home for dogs that are rescued from euthanasia, but haven't yet found their forever home.

Adopt a Dog
After enduring major upheaval, our rescue dogs need loving, accepting homes to call their own.
Please consider signing up to adopt one of our rescues. We will take extra care to be sure you are a good match for one another.

Support a Dog
Unfortunately, it costs more to save the life of a rescue dog than to end it.
Please consider supporting our efforts by contributing whatever you can on a one-time or recurring basis. All contributions are tax-deductible.
CURRENT DOGS
Are we meant to be?

Scout is a 4 month old German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees. He is one of four we rescued from being dumped. He is very smart and knows basic commands. He is mostly potty and kennel trained. He loves people and does great with small and big dog. Scout is a relatively mellow puppy and loves attention. We are working with him daily to ensure he is ready for his furever home. He can be a little shy in public and needs socialization. He prefers a home with no young children. He is at our facility and needs a foster or adopter.
Angie is a 2 year old Lab mix. We rescued her and her brother from the deserts of California. Not a bonded pair. She is a very sweet girl and loves people. She does great with all dogs, all sizes. She knows various commands. She grew up with a special needs child and was fabulous! Angie is also cat friendly! She is good on and off leash. She is kennel and potty trained. She is a low energy dog and prefers spending time cuddling with her family. She is at our facility and needs a foster or adopter.
Taco is a 2 year old Boston Terrier. Due to health issues he was surrendered to us with his brother Steve. They are not a bonded pair. Taco is a super sweet boy. He is medium energy. While he loves his play time he equally enjoys laying around with his people. Taco does good with other dogs and kids. He is potty and kennel trained. Taco is currently at our facility and needs a foster or adopter.
Harper is a 5 year old purebred German Shepherd. True to the breed, she has tons of energy and requires an active family or land to run on. She is very smart and knows commands. We recently introduced her to the treadmill to help burn some energy. She is doing great. Harper requires slow introductions to other dogs, she can be dog selective. She would do best as an only dog. She loves people and affection. She's an amazing girl who needs daily stimulation. She thrives on exercise and consistency. Harper is at our facility and would love a foster or adopter.
Blanco is a 1 year old Pitbull. We saved him moments before a California shelter was going to euthanize him. He has a horrible past and needs someone with patience and understanding. He is great with other dogs. He loves to cuddle on the couch with his people. Blanco is very special; he is partially deaf. He requires hand signals but is learning fast. Blanco has separation anxiety due to his trauma and needs a family that is home most, or all, the day. He is potty trained. This special boy needs a special home.
Riley is a 5 year old Springer Spaniel. Being a working breed, he requires a job or daily exercise to keep his mind and body busy. He is good with other dogs. He is currently going through training to learn to control his energy. He is potty and kennel trained. Riley would benefit from land to run on and/or someone experienced with the breed.
Pura is a 1 year old small breed mix. She is about 20 lbs. Her and her brother were rescued from a high kill shelter in California. She is good with most dogs, big and small. We are working with her daily on potty and kennel training. She is a medium energy dog and needs daily exercise. She knows basic commands. She loves everyone. Pura is currently at our facility and would love to have a foster or adopter take her home.
Yeti is a 4 month old German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees. Brothers to Scout. He is super mellow. He knows commands and is potty trained. He is good with small and big dogs. He loves to cuddle and relax on the couch with his family. Yeti loves people and kids. He is currently in a foster home but searching for a home to call his own.
Coal is a 1 year old small breed mix. He's about 15lbs. Bother to Pura but not a bonded pair. He does great with small and big dogs. He is a low-medium energy dog. He is mostly potty and kennel trained. He loves people and is very smart. We are working with him daily on basic commands and socialization. He is also cat and kid friendly. Coal is at our facility and would love a temporary foster to decompress or a permanent home!
Missy is 3 years old and is a sweety. She has had a very loving home. She spent days with the dad of the family and received bunches of attention. When he passed away, Missy was not only sad but her mom works long hours and she's lonely. Missy needs a loving home where she can be active, go on walks, and just be with her people. Missy is not socialized very well with other dogs, so it would be best if she was the only dog.
Onyx is a 2 year old Lab mix Brother to Angie but not bonded. Heis a very sweet boy and loves people. He is good with other dogs. He knows various commands. He grew up with a special needs child and was fabulous! Onyx is also cat friendly! He is kennel and potty trained. He is good off and on leash. He is a medium energy dog and loves playing outside. Her foster absolutely loved and had nothing but good things to say about her. She does great with other dogs. She is potty trained and working on kennel training. She walks nicely on leash. She knows basic commands and is very treat motivated. She is good with kids as well. She loves to play for a little and end it with snuggles on the couch with her humans. Aurora is at our facility and would benefit from a foster home or a permanent home.
Steve is a 3 year old Yorkie mix. He came in with Taco after owner suffered health issues. Steve is a cuddle bug and prefers spending all his time cuddled up on the couch with his people. He is low energy. He is a little shy at first but warms up fast. He does good with other dogs as well but shy at first as well. He does good with kids also. He is very calm and sweet.
